The Museum of The Rockies, just North of Yellowstone National Park, is, without a doubt, the very best museum we have ever seen! The centerpiece of the museum in the dinosaur collections, highlighted by nests of dinosaur eggs. World famous paleontologist Jack Horner is the Curator of Paleontology and he is one of the original proponents of the theory that dinosaurs lay eggs.

This museum is a very special treat for people of all ages and especially fun for children. There are many exhibits that bring to life, in fun ways, concepts that are difficult to grasp. The bottom left photograph shows a picture of a machine that collects dimes from museum visitors, conveying the concept of how much a "million" is. The red line shows the 200,000 dime level and we can see how far the exhibit has to go to collect the remaining 800,000 dimes.

The museum has some of the greatest collections of dinosaurs available anywhere, a great planetarium, a wonderful history of Indian culture, and many other interesting exhibits.
