you need to park along a highway or road in snow, park in a designated "SNO-PARK"
or other parking area as shown in the photograph at the left. The
occupants of this SUV have gone off snowmobiling for the day.
The SUV in the photo below is parked on the shoulder of the road. This will impede the proper clearing of the road by snowplows. If left for long, the car will either:
1) be completely buried in snow in short order (from the snowplow.
2) be towed (75 miles in this case) to the nearest town.
3) be shoved off the road into the ditch by the snowplow.
