Topic: Off Road Etiquette - Noise Control
Previous TopicNext TopicHelp
When you travel, noise is an inevitable part of the journey. Dogs, kids, cars, motorcycles, chain saws, snowmobiles, shooting, boom boxes, all contribute to the sounds around us.

When you encounter situations during your adventures where loud noise would be inappropriate such as in or near public buildings, near homes, or in camp grounds, tone it down! People travel to enjoy the country and the beauty of our lands.

During the evening and nighttime hours, especially in campgrounds, try to keep the noise down. Your neighbors did not set out to hear a lot racket all night long. They are there because they enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors.
