|There are 2
radiator hoses located in the engine compartment. The hose shown in the
top photo goes from the top of the radiator to the top of the engine.
The hose shown in the photo at the bottom goes from the bottom of the
engine to the bottom of the radiator(the bottom hose is noted with the
Visually inspect each hose for cracks and other signs of wear. Assure that the hoses are clear of any objects that may rub on them. Pay particular attention to sections of the hoses where bends occur (shown in blue circle in the top photo).
If you find a hose that is cracked or worn, have your service department replace it before you go off the road again. A broken radiator hose off the road will disable your vehicle and you will not be able to drive it, even for a short distance without severely damaging your engine from overheating.
