Oils and Fluids for your SUV Before you set about doing your own maintenance, you need to go shopping. And before you go shopping, retrieve the owners manual for your particular SUV and look up all of the items listed below. Then make notes about the correct type to buy for your SUV. Take your owners manual shopping with you if necessary to assure you buy the correct type of fluids for your particular SUV. Pick the products brands you like and purchase the following( shown from left to right in the photo at the top):

1) Anti-Freeze
2) Power Steering Fluid
3) Brake Fluid
4) Windshield Washer Fluid
5) White grease (spray-on type is easiest). This will be used for door and hood hinges.
6) Automatic Transmission fluid
7) Motor Oil (get several of these so that you can keep 2 in your SUV
8) Small can of graphite lock spray (not shown). This will be used to keep your door locks from freezing in cold winter climates.

You can get these products at most auto parts stores like your local NAPA Auto Parts store.
