Box of Stuff There are a number of items you should always carry in your SUV whether you are riding in town or off the road. These items will prepare you for roadside emergencies, bad weather, and other common mishaps that happen along the way.

A word about packing these items: Note the "Hold down Netting" in the picture at the top. This netting comes with every SUV and if your's does not have some, then see your dealer about getting some. It is a MUST that the things you store in the back of your SUV be securely tied down in some manner. The box and the shovel are securely tied down with the netting. The fire extinguisher is fastened to the side panel.

The lower photo shows a set of hand tools that will always be handy to have along. It contains screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches of all sizes. These tools are a must if you go off the road and are always handy for fixing bicycles, toys, and all sorts of other things while you are driving around town.
