Topic: Carry Spare Batteries in Your SUV
Previous TopicNext TopicHelp
How many of these battery operated gadgets are you carrying with you in your Sports Utility Vehicle? Do you have other battery operated stuff too! And do you have extra batteries for all of them?

Especially important are spare batteries for your cellular telephone and for your hand held GPS navigation unit. These items could be invaluable should your SUV become stranded with a dead vehicle battery. Warning: You cannot depend on your cellular telephone working very far off the road unless there are cell receiving sites nearby. Carry spare batteries for the cell phone anyway just in case you can get a signal to make a telephone call for help.
