Topic: Ski Racks - Clean Those Ski Bindings After Every Trip

Skis take a beating on the slopes. But they take a beating on the highway to and from the resort also. Road grime and sand or salt used on slippery highways will get all over your skis. Just look at the back of all of the other vehicles coming home from that long day of great skiing. Often times you cannot even tell the color of the vehicle because of all of the buildup of sand saturated water or snow on the back. Well, your skis, if mounted outside your vehicle, are going to be covered with the same stuff!

When you get home from skiing, wash your skis with a hose or a power washer like the one shown here. Hose down the binding area real good to assure that no sand or salt remains in the bindings.

Our next web page Next Topic will cover more information about cleaning your ski rack and your SUV after a ski trip.
