Topic: Cleaning the Underbody

After your trip to the outback, clean the underside of your SUV with a power washer like the one shown below. Mud (and salt if you have been driving on salted roads in winter) accumulate in the wheel wells and other areas under the car.

A great tool for this job is the Coleman "Clean Machine". Aim the sprayer at any caked on mud or salt and it will remove it quickly. Pay particular attention to the areas behind each of the wheels. You can access most of the underside of your car if you lay on the ground. Do the underside first and you won't be laying in water from spraying the sides of the car first.

Do not aim the sprayer at any of your (or others') body parts. The spray is powerful and will cause injury.
